Terms of Use
Last updated October 13, 2026 · applies to Stowra 0.2
Stowra is free, early software. Use it on your own Macs, keep backups of files that matter, and know that it comes as is, without guarantees.
Using Stowra
Stowra is free. You may download it and use it on Macs you own or control. You may not sell it, or share modified copies of it, without permission.
What Stowra does with your files
Stowra moves files only when you approve a move, or when you've set a route to run automatically. It never overwrites a file: if a name is taken, the moved file gets a new name such as "name 2".
Stowra never deletes. "Trash" in Stowra means the Finder Trash: anything it suggests throwing away goes there, only after you approve it, and stays there until you empty it yourself. Moves can be undone from the app while the file is still where Stowra put it.
Not notarized
Stowra is not yet notarized by Apple. macOS asks you to confirm it the first time you open it. Only download Stowra from this website.
Keep backups
Stowra is careful, but it's early software and may have bugs. You're responsible for your files. Please keep a backup, such as Time Machine, of anything you can't afford to lose.
No warranty
Stowra is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.
Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, the developer of Stowra isn't liable for any lost data, lost profits, or indirect, incidental or consequential damages that result from using or being unable to use Stowra.
Changes
Stowra may change, gain or lose features, or stop being offered. These terms may also change. If they do, the new version will be posted here with a new date, and continuing to use Stowra means you accept them.
Privacy
How Stowra treats your information is explained in the Privacy Policy. In short: the app sends nothing anywhere.
